About Tom

I am 59 years old and married to a loving and supportive wife.  My wife and I value an integral family unit and are currently raising our youngest son through his adolescent years.  He is active in the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), and I am fortunate to be able to contribute to the BSA on a regular basis.  Our other five adult children are leading productive and meaningful lives in the military and private sector.

As shown, my passion is United States history, especially the period surrounding the founding of this great nation. There is so much to learn from these Americans... 
 
I am a small business owner who specializes in cleaning water -- treating manufacturing process waste streams, producing discharge streams which meet EPA guidelines.  My company, DTW Systems, has been in operation over 14 years, solving over 150 unique problems. 
 
One of the interesting aspects of cleaning water is that each solution is different, because each problem is different.  The solutions may use some of the same components, but they are each unique.  DTW Systems specializes in membrane technology, but some problems require a different approach, so those technologies are incorporated.  Using the best ideas to clean water is similar to what is required to clean up the waste in government  -- we must use the best available ideas to solve the problem.
