Nothing But The Truth

When was the last time you heard a straight answer to a straight question from anyone associated with political office? Aren’t you sick of the double talk, evasiveness and attitude of “better than” that is the prime mode of speech of the people you pay to represent you?

If an employee is constantly misleading or “mis-speaking” to his or her boss, does not fulfill their obligations, deliberately sabotages or undermines another employee just because they do not agree, that employee needs to be replaced with someone else that approaches the job from a refreshingly straightforward and honest manner.

The expectation of honesty, truthfulness, hard work and producing positive results does not begin and end in the private sector. Members of Congress work for, and are responsible to, the people of their districts. How novel of an experience will it be to hear a political candidate who has pledged to tell NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH because that is the least of what you, the voter, deserves?

Tom Weaver believes that the seat he seeks in Congress does not belong to the person who wins the election, it is not an entitlement, does not automatically go to the candidate who raises the most money, and should not be an incubator for large egos. The seat belongs to the people of the Congressional District and the only duty the occupant of that seat has is to work for the people who put him there, as well as for those that did not vote for him.

Tom Weaver will tell you the truth. You may not agree with him, but you will never have to wonder what he believes.

Refreshing?
Novel?
Different?
True?
